Painting I did at this past Heroes con for the art auction, I spent the better part of the day working on this. The set-up was a homage of Green Lantern Corp #1, which I picked up for a mere dollar.
I nearly gave up on this half way but after getting some nice words from J Scott Campbell who sat next to me working on something awesome, I decided to see it through. Sold pretty well, but all in the name of charity.

Sooooooooooooo, I was guilted (once again) to drop what I was doing and
crank out a watercolor on the fly. The commissioner requested this house to be painted because that's where she grew up during the Civil War and I couldn't refuse the work for fear of contracting polio from a very upset elder. The reference shown on the right is not cropped, this is the only photo she had for me to work from. She described the rest and was relatively pleased with the result, thankfully.

Done earlier this year....

4 hour rush job for my friend's job. They demanded to have a poster made but wouldn't pay poster prices (even at cost). Granted this coloring is par at best, the client's decided to go with a $4 black and white print blown up. Apparently they are going to color it with highlighters later.
Oh and they all collectively crapped themselves when I told them the price for a 15 character commission

So I was tasked with the challenge of drawing a comic a page a day every day. Currently the story is resembling something close to Spaceman Spiff meets LTOR (although not on purpose).

So I'm currently up to penciling page 7. This is more of an exercise on drawing pages and panels everyday to keep the craft up to spec. Since my current day-job became quite demanding over the past several months, its died down enough for me to redirect my focus. As long as I can keep this up there should be more posts to follow very, very soon

A commission piece for an old friend done in pencil. I honestly never knew of the Hoppy mascot character for the Shazam brand. After looking a little further into it I actually got excited at the prospect of making this fun and the rendition of Shazam in Kingdom Come was always a favorite, so naturally the idea formed rather quickly.

Upon selling my old Honda my mother dug this up outta the trunk. I think I did this back in '96 or '97 while in school (although not for an assignment but just for fun). My first stab with dry pastels and charcoal on a velvet board.
If I recall correctly I believe the girl in question is either a Furry or Manga artist today. Think I'll give her a call.....

This didn't take so long though but between the time of the last piece I got a stomach flu so now I got a whole lot to catch up on.

So today I rolled Michael Meyers, then it was brought to my attention that Mike was on the list twice which made the list a LIE!! So in an act of spontaneity I had a good buddy pic the 1st character he could think of off the top of his head and BLAM, I got this.

I only remember playing this game a few times and I can tell ya it was hard as hell. Anytime your boy here gets touched by a baddie he'd lose his armor and end up fighting the undead in his boxers (it's the only way)

Well, just dipping my big toe in the water to test. Lets start with what was fun. This is just a standard pin-up done in ink. Took approx 20-30 minutes. I had minimal reference but with the help of a CD for the moon and an action figure it turned out pretty well. Completed 3/04/08
